FILE & FOLDERS
--------------
This is probably the most important file in this archive, short of
ShadowTerm II itself. Why? It tell you two important things you REALLY
need to know.
1. The first time you execute ShadowTerm II, it must be from drive A: or
ShadowTerm II will crash. I saved nearly 100K of memory by doing this,
so it was worth it. After you edit the configuration file, you can
run ShadowTerm II from any place you want.
2. The first time you run ShadowTerm II, the directory structure must
be correct or (again) ShadowTerm II will crash.
Here is the correct directory structure, in case the archive you
downloaded does not extract the way it should.
DRIVE A!
In the ROOT (the place where your accessories go) you should have:
DRIVEA.CNF -Configuration file set up for DRIVE A.
DRIVEC.CNF -Configuration file set up for DRIVE C.
SCRIPTS.DAT -Script file for random taglines.
SHDWTERM.CNF -Configuration file set up for DRIVE A.
SHDWTERM.PRG -ShadowTerm II program file.
SHDWTERM.RSC -ShadowTerm II resource file.
READ_ME.NOW -This very importan file.
In a folder called DOC, ( \DOC\ you should have:
SHDWTERM.TXT -Documentation for ShadowTerm II.
Another folder called XYZ ( \DOC\XYZ\ ) containing:
READ.ME -Documentation for XYZ, by Starfall Software.
XYZ201.DOC -Documentation for XYZ, by Starfall Software.
Another folder called YMG125 ( \DOC\YMG125\ ) containing:
README.1ST -Documentation for YMG, by Zipline Software.
In a folder called TRANSFER ( \TRANSFER\ ) you should have:
XYZ.TTP -XYZ, by Starfall Software.
YMG125.TTP -YMG, by Zipline Software.
In a folder called SEQUENCE ( \SEQUENCE\ ) you should have:
ENTRY99.SEQ -A wait-sequence file for ShadowTerm II.
For most people, the archive should extract itself into the proper
directories, with the user only having to copy the files (directories
and all) to drive A:.
Enjoy ShadowTerm II, and PLEASE read SHDWTERM.TXT in the DOC folder.
